Tulisan ini dibuat sebenarnya bukan dengan maksud mempromosikan penggunaan arsitek dan kontraktor (diri sendiri :)) tetapi lebih untuk kebaikan bagi rekan-rekan yang hendak membangun rumah idaman.

Yang pertama dalam pemilihan arsitek-kontraktor (A-K) adalah referensi dari keluarga atau rekan yang pernah memakai jasa A-K, karena setidaknya Anda dapat mempercayai referensi dari orang terdekat.

Kedua, Anda dapat meminta referensi proyek yang pernah dikerjakan, contoh buat arsitek Anda dapat meminta contoh-contoh designnya, mulai dari denah, façade, detail kusen, detai lantai, detail plafond, denah titik lampu (elektrikal), gambar 3D nya, dan lain-lain. Yang ketiga adalah kecocokan karakter, mungkin Anda berpikir “Apa hubungannya?” Menurut pengalaman saya ini adalah poin terakhir adalah poin yang tidak boleh dilupakan dalam memilih arsitek-kontraktor, sama seperti saya dalam menentukan untuk menerima seorang klien. Mengapa? Agar rasa saling percaya dapat terbentuk, kalau dari pertama saja Anda “gak” yakin dengan karakter serta kejujurannya buat apa di teruskan?
